The Waterwise Water Distiller removes more than 99.8% of standard water impurities, inorganic minerals and contaminants. The water distiller uses carbon post-filtration along with the steam distillation to effectively remove 99.8% of impurities which are found in common tap water.
The Pure Magic has a few in built safety features to ensure safe operation. It has an automatic cut-off after 1 gallon has been distilled. This will make sure it will not boil dry which is a a common problem some cheaper water distillers.
The recessed heating base reduces scale build-up to maximise performance and lifespan.
So How Does the Pure Magic Distiller Work?
Ordinary tap water is heated to 212 F (100 C) killing microbes such as bacteria, cysts and viruses that may be present.
Steam rises leaving behind dead microbes, dissolved solids, salts, heavy metals and other substances.
Low boiling light gases are discharged through a gaseous vent. Pure steam is condensed.
Purified/distilled water then percolates through a coconut shell carbon filter, enhancing quality by aeration, degasification, and adsorption of VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
The 100% steam distilled water is now ready for drinking and cooking.
