When Not Used
If the filter is left to stand for more than 3 - 4 days without use, it is recommended that one litre of water be allowed to flow through the cartridge to waste before using.
Highly recommended for rainwater & city water supplies treated with chlorine or chloramine. If your water is treated with or contains Fluoride, you might want to check out the option which will remove the fluoride, and utilise the Ultraceram fluoride removal cartridge which can be installed instead of the carbon cartridge.
