The Big Blue/Whole House & High Flow filter systems are specifically designed to cater to areas where a high flow rate is needed. Installed on mains plumbing, sediment and chlorine are removed from all faucets/ showers throughout the premises, at up to 50 litres per minute, protecting tap washers, hot water systems and appliances.
Our Big Blue filter systems are fitted with Caleffi Pressure Reducing Valves (Made in Italy) to safeguard your water filter system. These valves are fully adjustable to allow for optimum water pressure.
Two-stage filtration process
Stage 1 – Polyspun Sediment Pre-Filter
Made from spun bonded polypropylene, the manufacturing technique of these cartridges results in no centre core to the filter, thus not restricting the filter performance. This stage effectively filters sediment, rust, dirt and other particulate matter.
Manufactured with a triple-layer structure to maximise the contaminant holding capacity and filter life, the materials also provide a resilient barrier to bacterial/chemical influence – preventing any build of unwanted waste (e.g. algae).

Stage 2 – Carbon Block Filter Cartridge
The second stage carbon block filters allows for a high efficiency of carbon block filtration with a lower pressure drop. This enables yours Big Blue filter system to deliver extended cartridge life while removing sediment, chlorine, organic contaminants and taste and odour from your drinking water supply.
